Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. James managed my EV charger install very efficiently and kept me in the loop the entire time. He found extra voltage on my panel that saved me from doing a panel upgrade and for that I’m very grateful. Even the city inspector commented on his professionalism and his staff Kiel was efficient, polite and cleaned up after the job well. Definitely recommend OakWest Electric!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had James and his team check our panel to make sure it didn't need upgrading and to make sure everything was up to code. Within two days, everything was done! We highly recommend James and his team to anyone needing electrical work done. You will not be disappointed as they are punctual, efficient, and reasonable. Their customer service is top notch and that is such a rarity these days.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted James after having power issues with my main breaker at home. He provided an assessment over the phone and sent me a proposal/estimate for the work to be done. James set me up with one of his technicians Kiel who was also amazing throughout . Kiel competed the work , explained everything he was doing and was friendly and knowledgeable . James arranged for the permit and contacted hydro to restore power after the work was competed. I highly recommend the team at Oakwest, honest and hardworking, excellent communication throughout and quality work done!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys were wonderful. They upgraded our electrical panel, installed a Level 2 car charger by running cable through our attic and then they did a bunch of small electrical fixes we needed around the house. We originally hired Hilltop Electric and they sent Oak West to do the job. Next time we will cut out the middle man!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called Oakwest Electric later in the afternoon with an unusual electrical problem. He arrived soon after and found a problem with our meter. It ended up being a major repair that required hours sourcing materials on a Saturday before a long weekend. He finished around 11PM. BC Hydro replaced their service cable and drove off 1:15 AM. James took care of every detail. The cost was at least $1000 below what I anticipated. We were in a pinch and James quietly took care of every detail.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dealing with Oakwest was smooth and convenient. James had a technician dispatched to my place within the hour I called for an emergency repair, kept up solid communication throughout the process, and worked with BCHydro to make the whole event as pain free as possible. Bobby, the electrician sent, was quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. If I could give more stars, I would. 100% recommend.
